RCIA: The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults

For those adults seeking entrance into the Church (Catechumenate), the RCIA program offers faith formation and sacramental preparation to all inquirers. By God's help they will be strengthened spiritually during their preparation and at the proper time they will receive the sacraments fruitfully. Those who are baptized (candidates) but have not received all the sacraments of initiation are also catechized during this period and brought into full communion with the Church at the Easter Vigil. Inquiries into our Catholic faith and our RCIA program may be made to the CCE office.

Adult Confirmation

This program is offered to those active practicing adult Catholics who have been baptized and received First Eucharist but have not received the Sacrament of Confirmation. During the season of Lent, a course is offered in sacramental preparation and those who complete the course are then confirmed into the faith on Pentecost Sunday. Inquiries into this program should be made to the CCE office.

Adult Faith Formation

The mission of adult faith formation is to provide faith-based programs for adult Catholics. Our objectives are to form parishes vitally alive in their faith and to form adults who actively cultivate a lively baptismal and Eucharistic spirituality with a powerful sense of mission and apostolate.

Quinceañeras

The family must be registered in the parish. The individual must have completed First Penance and First Communion and presently be attending religious education classes at Notre Dame for at least one year.
